These terms are an agreement between you and Hillway Holdings Limited for your use of Crossd. By creating an account you accept them.
Eligibility. You must be 13 or over to use Crossd. If you are under 18, you confirm a parent or guardian agrees to your use of the app.
Your account. Keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use.
Acceptable use. Crossd is for discovering shared places and reconnecting with people you know. You must not use it to stalk, harass, monitor, or locate anyone without their knowledge and consent, to threaten or harm anyone, or for any unlawful purpose. A crossing is only ever shown between people who have mutually agreed to connect. Respect other people's privacy.
No reliance for safety. Crossd surfaces coincidences and history for interest and fun. It is not a safety, security, tracking, or emergency service, and you must not rely on it as one.
Your data. You keep ownership of your data. You grant us only the limited permission needed to run the features you use, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Our service. We provide Crossd "as is". We may add, change, or remove features. We do not guarantee that any particular crossing will be found.
Intellectual property. The Crossd app, name, and design belong to us. You may not copy or misuse them.
Suspension and termination. We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaches these terms or misuses the app, in particular to protect others from harm. You may stop using Crossd and delete your data at any time.
Liability. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or unforeseeable loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes. We may update these terms and will ask you to agree again to material changes.
Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
